Great deal, compared with the ones available at Circuit City or Best Buy. Only thing I wished was that it had a way to fine tune the level after the TV was installed.

Once out of the box, I could tell the mount was well made. It was super easy to install, and once mounted, it really secured the TV. The only thing I would want differently after installing, is one that tilts or swings out for easier access to connections, which on my TV are recessed at the bottom, and once the TV is mounted, are in a tight cavity. But there's no question: I'll need another mount soon, and I will definitely buy from this manufacturer, and from Amazon as well.

Good product- easy to assemble- even though my husband
had to move the ends to sit on the studs in our wall-but
he was able to adjust and it is fine.
Good Inexpensive Mount January 8, 2007
I bought this from Amazon at about half the price of local retailers. Arrived in two days with Amazon Prime free shipping. The mount is good, simple and sturdy. I put it into studs on the left and right sides. The fit was tight with the studs being at the extreme edges of the mounts openings. As others have stated, find and measure the stud locations. Not much room to play with if your studs aren't the standard distance apart. I would not use it on drywall alone for the 50" plasma TV. If you have a light weight LCD you might be able to get away with mounting it on dry wall. Because of my stud location I was off center by about 6 inches on my prime location on the wall but I got over it quickly. Once placed you can slide the TV left or right a couple of inches but no more then that. You will also have to take the TV off the wall mount to change connections if you need too. Easy, just lifts off, but takes 2-3 people with my heavy 100 lb plasma. No room for fingers behind the TV. I would buy it again.

Big dissapointment! I should have read the reviews more carefully.. I bought this unit because it was recommended as accessory to the Sansumg 42" LCD I was purchasing from Amazon....It turns out this is a very limited mount if you plan to fix it to a dry wall. You cannot slide the bars horizontally and the center of the openings are 31" apart with a little leeway both sides... If the studs are 24" apart, like mine, forget it. What a bummer....Amazon should place a caveat next to its recommendation as accesory.
