Editorial Reviews:

Album Description
As one of the most innovative and sought after groups in the Latin music industry, Calle 13 return with their third album Los De Atrs Vienen Conmigo. This album is a bit more colorful than the previous, although dark humor continues to be the tone. The album has a fusion of rhythms the band discovered during their visits to several countries. They fuse rhythms of 'cumbia villera' native to Argentina, and rhythms of 'volcanic' music, native to Russia. This album includes important collaborations with Ruben Blades and Caf? Tacvba to name a few. The concept behind Calle 13 has been uniform throughout all their albums, irreverent lyrics, experimental musical fusions, and rhythms that move the masses.

4 out of 5 stars Great music   January 7, 2009
This album is really good not as good as the first but still good enough to spend the money on it.

5 out of 5 stars Mind over matter...   November 26, 2008
My son got this CD as a birthday present and he likes it a lot. I just finished listening to it and once again find myself enjoying the poetic prose these artists offer. I was a Calle 13 fan before, but now I'm infatuated, they have tapped into different styles of music, plus have collaborated with some top notch musicians in this album. Then there's the lyrics... Hands down Calle 13 is witty, sharp and by all means irreverent.

5 out of 5 stars An excellent and thought-provoking disc!!   November 25, 2008

Calle 13's latest disc offers a wide varied mixture of musical styles that make it a thoroughly enjoyable listen. From the jazzy light salsa of "La Perla", to the dancehall style of "Tal Para Cual", Calle 13 shows great inventiveness and creativity in the arrangements. The growth in their songwriting since their earliest disc is astounding, given that that first disc wasn't released too long ago.

It's important to note that Calle 13's music is not necessarily for dancing (Residente even states this in the lyrics) but for the mind, and as such, the lyrics are what really shine through on this release. Whereas in past releases from Calle 13 the listener might still find stuff to like without understanding the lyrics, Residente's intelligent wordplay take center stage on songs like "Que Lloren", "Latin Gringo Funk", "John, El Esquizofrenico" and the title song. With topics ranging from Latino pride to mental illness, to just having fun to what life is like on the streets, Calle 13 approaches their lyrics like their music, with a lot of experimentation, intelligence and fun. Their infamous use of profanity is toned down a bit on this disc, but instead Residente writes clever rhymes that bring a smile to the face (who can listen to "Fiesta de Locos" and not laugh, in a good way?). I can't imagine I'd enjoy this CD as much if I didn't understand the lyrics.

Overall, these guys set the standard for what "reggaeton" or "urban-latin" music can be: creative, thought-provoking and intelligent. These guys are the real deal!!

5 out of 5 stars ufff   November 15, 2008

5 out of 5 stars Stellar Seller   November 13, 2008
This seller delivers on what they promise and I would highly recommend them to all my friends...but not my enemies(my cd came a couple days BEFORE I was expecting it!)
