| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Curumin is a Brazilian musician, born to Spanish/Japanese parents. His style is sometimes called samba-funk, and it incorporates many jazz, bossa nova, and hip-hop elements as well. "JapanPopShow" is an extension of musical influences that only begins to summarize all that is Curumin, from his ethnic background to the soul of his home in Sao Paulo, and brings to the rest of the world a most incredible musical journey.

In My Top 10 of '08! December 10, 2008 This is 1 of my Top 10 albums of 2008! I LOVE IT!! QUANNUM PROJECTS!!
This is tight. November 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
(From someone who speaks no Portuguese..) This is just straight tasty.
An unapologetic feel-good record, and one that will get your head nodding, your hips moving, and/or the corners of your mouth up, depending on how seriously you take yourself..
(No less, knocking elbows with and dislodging all the bleak, post-artistic, anti-fun slop crowding the independent scene.) Hello dance floor, how we've missed you..
Good album top to bottom, but especially peep "Compacto" and "Kyoto" - the former hosts Gift of Gab and Lateef the Truthspeaker.
And if you haven't, check out "Guerreiro" from Curumin's other record, Achados e Perdidos, which is also funky and dope.
