A great choice for smaller rooms like the bedroom or kitchen, the 15-inch Magnavox 15MF400 LCD TV/monitor offers the versatility to easily switch back and forth between TV viewing and your computer monitor. It comes with a built-in 181-channel NTSC tuner that can accommodate up to 125 cable channels. It has a removable table stand, and the set can be wall-mounted with optional hardware. The 15MF400 has a 1024 x 768-pixel resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio for standard definition television viewing. It also offers a 250 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating, 16 ms (millisecond) response time for viewing fast-moving content with minimal blurring, and a 400:1 contrast ratio. (The higher the contrast ratio, the greater a TV's ability to display subtle color details and not get washed out by ambient room light.) The 2D comb filter separates chrominance (color) from luminance (brightness) information in the video signal for independent processing to improve picture resolution and minimize distortion. Defective but replaced quickly October 1, 2008
The TV broke a few days after receiving it. They sent me a new one at no charge and paid for the return of the broken TV. Only problem is that their warrantee on the TV would not start on the date I received the replacement TV. My warrantee on the replacement TV would start on the day I received the defective TV. Not very fair.

the t.v. is a nice little television and it is loaded with features. I purchased it for my daughter after lightnening took out her 20 inch and she is happy with it. thank you.
Good for the price January 22, 2008
I have owned this for over a year and when my laptop was stolen I connected it to a PC and it works fine. It's SAP function works and the sound was ok. I also have it conected to my local cable company so it does both functions. TV and PC monitor.
 Poor sound hard to adjust November 27, 2007

Out of the box months ago and still can't get it adjusted. From 12 feet away the sound is tinny and acceptable only if the bass is turned way up and the treble is turned way down. The picture is not crisp and the background is too black. If I adjust it brighter everything turns washed out. I expected more. I use it with ear phones and over a treadmill so it is acceptable for the price.

The monitor part is perfect (great picture) easy to use, great size. For me dvd & tv are alittle out of focus. Some people may not notice. If you back up a bit it looks better. I'd recomend trying this tv out. Also- its "dc" 12volt so you can use it in a motor home.
