Condition: This is a DVD home entertainment system. Does not play blu-ray, but can be hooked to blu-ray player to output surround sound while playing blu-ray videos. Has 3 front speakers and two rear speakers and subwoofer. The two back speakers are wireless. No need to run wires from the receiver to the back speakers. An infared transceiver talks to another infared transceiver in one of the rear speakers. The rear speakers are wired together, but no wires from transceiver to rear speakers. The DVD player holds 5 discs, has AM/FM, XM radio ready, and has front auxiliary inputs for connecting iPod / iPhone. I have everything from when I bought the system except the manual (can be downloaded from Sony website) and original packing. The stands (which are all aluminum, not plastic) have two possible configuations (short stand, tall stand (pictured). Set includes two front speakers (with optional short/tall stands), one center speaker, two rear speakers, optional short stands, one subwoofer, 5 disc receiver, transceiver, auto calibration microphone, and remote. Bought in 2008 for $800.
