The vertical compression and 3D digital comb filter maximize resolution. If cut corners leave you feeling cheated, you'll appreciate Sony's Magnetic Quadra Pole, which optimizes focus from corner to corner. The connectivity features of the KV-36XBR250 include one S-video input, one S-Link control S interface, two A/V inputs, and two RF inputs. The front-panel s-video and A/V inputs make camcorder and video game setup simple. The component video input allows a direct connection to your DVD player or DTV receiver.Convenience features include XDS (Extended Data Services), which displays the time, station call letters, and programming information transmitted by some broadcasters. Favorite Preview uses the dual-tuner PIP (picture-in-picture) to preview programs on up to five channels while the original program remains on the main screen. Freeze Memo freezes the main screen picture and sends the frozen frame to the PIP window allowing sufficient time to jot down the number from a commercial.
